The NMC Lending Library
This collection of materials began as a resource for federally-funded mentoring programs and has expanded to serve any program in the United States. The collection provides access to program development tools, mentoring research, evaluation guides, training curricula, and other print materials that can assist mentoring professionals in the design and implementation of their programs.
Searching and Borrowing from the Library:
The collection may be searched using the field below. Programs may borrow up to five (5) items at a time and place holds on items that are currently in use. OSDFS mentoring grantees can borrow items directly using the password-protected online checkout form. All other programs can borrow materials by using the interlibrary loan services of their local public library. Interlibrary loan is a free (or virtually free) service provided by all public libraries. Local libraries can borrow items via the standard American Library Association form, which can be faxed, c/o Michael Garringer, to 503-275-0444 or emailed to garringm@nwrel.org.
All patrons are required to honor the following policies, procedures, and guidelines and when borrowing materials:
- Five (5) items per agency at any given time
- Loan period is 30 days from date of checkout
- Items may be renewed one time if no other users have requested them
- Items may be placed on hold if they are currently unavailable
- Items must be returned to NWREL on time and in adequate protective packaging
- Please inform the NWREL if your materials arrive damaged
