About the Northwest Regional Educational Laboratory
Board of Directors
NWREL is governed by a 30-member Board of Directors from the Northwest region comprised of the states of Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, and Washington. The Board of Directors includes chief school officers or representatives of the five Northwest states affiliated with the Laboratory; five representatives of NWREL institutions elected to three-year terms; and others who are appointed to three-year terms to represent constituent groups, both educators and noneducators.
