Nancy Henry is the director of the Volunteer Leadership Center. She began working with national service programs at the launch of AmeriCorps in 1995. She has a master's degree in adult education, with a specialization in organizational development and training. |

Jerian Abel provides direction to the distance learning projects in VLC. These include the VISTA and AmeriCorps campuses, as well as EnCorps, a field engagement process and collection of web-based resources and interactive tutorials. Jerian holds a Ph.D. in curriculum and instruction with an emphasis on technology-based instructional design. |

Richard Melo coordinates training events for AmeriCorps members and national service participants from across Oregon and Washington. These include the Northwest National Service Symposium, the NW Network conference, and the Northwest Leader Corps trainings. He also writes and develops distance learning opportunities for EnCorps and other VLC projects. |

Erich Stiefvater is a program advisor for the LEARNS and VISTA Campus projects at NWREL. For LEARNS, he develops and delivers face-to-face and online trainings for youth-serving programs. For the VISTA Campus, he creates original training and member-development content, participates in storyboard development and other instructional-design tasks, and helps adapt source material for online delivery. |
