Winds of Change:
Through the Montana Heritage Project, Students Preserve the Past and Prepare for the Future
Harlowton High School students explore the life histories of local residents in the Musselshell Valley of Montana while documenting the history of three area ranches whose histories reach back over a hundred years. Their work is part of the Montana Heritage Project, focused on community centered teaching and learning. Schools and communities collaborate to gather, preserve, and present local knowledge.
