Glenville High School
Parent Engagement

Both parent engagement and ninth-grade transition activities are important components of SLC strategies. Glenville's "Family Nights Out for Fun and Learning" program serves to establish two-way communication between the school and the home, and to help ninth-graders successfully make the transition into high school. Parents, students, and family members attend evening workshops where they learn what parents can do to help their children succeed in school, how to help them to prepare for the Ninth Grade Ohio Proficiency Test (OPT), and how parents can be involved with school activities.
