Five years ago, the Cleveland Municipal School District ranked last among Ohio school systems, and was placed in academic emergency status. It now stands as one of Ohio's "most improved school districts." This report, presented to the Governor's Blue Ribbon Task Force on Financing Student Success in October 2003 by the Cleveland Municipal School District, details the changes in the past five years.
