February 1998 Video Focuses on Six-Trait Writing Model

A new video produced by NWREL provides a visual companion to the recently released booklet, Dear Parent: A Handbook for Parents of 6-Trait Writing Students.
The 27-minute video features teachers, parents, and students discussing the six-trait writing model used in schools throughout the Pacific Northwest. The video, produced by NWREL’s Assessment and Accountability Program, is useful to teachers as a way to help parents understand the six-trait model (the traits include: ideas, organization, voice, word choice, sentence fluency, and conventions).
Copies of the video are free with the purchase of 15 Dear Parent handbooks. Separate copies of the video are $15.
