April 1999 1998 Annual Report
Over the past year, both the scope and volume of Laboratory activities increased significantly. NWREL established three new training and technical assistance centers, requests for products and publications doubled, our Web site had 1.7 million accesses, and we hosted 62 conferences and conducted 1,299 workshops and consultations. NWREL's 1998 Annual Report to Members provides details on these and other activities completed during fiscal year 1998, and gives an overview of the Laboratory's ongoing work.
As we grow and adapt to keep pace with the changing world, our mission remains constant: To work with schools and communities to improve the educational results of children and adults.
