April 1997 Updated Bibliography Focuses on Portfolios
Few education topics have generated as much attention as that of portfolios. To keep up with this interest, the Northwest Regional Educational Laboratory's Assessment Resource Library (formerly the Test Center) has recently updated its popular annotated bibliography of articles on portfolios.
The 92-page bibliography is wide ranging, covering portfolios of students and professional staff, at all grade levels, in many subject areas, and in theory and practice. The bibliography is accompanied by an index which enables the user to locate articles that fit descriptors such as "math," "health," "interdisciplinary," or "college entrance."
Each bibliography entry includes the source from which it may be obtained.
Those who live in Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, or Washington may borrow the documents free of charge for three weeks from the Assessment Resource Library. Those outside the region are charged a handling fee.
