NWREL Awards Just Announced

NWREL received word from Senator Gordon Smith's (OR) office that its application to continue operating the Equity Assistance Center for the Northwest and Pacific region was successful.

The project is a partnership between NWREL and our subcontractor, Pacific Resources for Education and Learning (PREL), to provide top-quality information, training, and technical assistance to state and local education agencies in the areas of race, gender, and national origin equity.

NWREL will also work with PREL as an outside evaluator of their new Star Schools project. This project is designed to improve student'reading proficiency using technology.
