Education Now & in the Future 2004.

Almost 400 people attended ENF 2004 in Portland, February 9–10. Hosted by the Northwest Regional Educational Laboratory, the annual conference featured training sessions and workshops sharing proven tools for successful schools.

Teachers from Gilbert Heights Elementary joined in the discussion of teaming strategies used at their school.

2—Hobart Players

A highlight of Tuesday's program was a performance by the Hobart Players. The Los Angeles troupe, under the direction of Rafe Esquith, enchanted the audience with selections from Henry V and other Shakespearean works.

3—Students from Beaverton High School

High school students were on hand to survey participants.
They'll provide feedback that will help guide planning for next year's conference.
