NWREL Anniversary PartyBoard members and Lab staff gathered in June to celebrate NWRELs 37 years of working with schools and communities to improve education. The gala event coincided with the Board of Directors quarterly meeting in Portland, at which the following officers were elected: Chair, John Pugh (Chancellor, University of Alaska Southeast, Juneau, AK); Vice-Chair, Sharon Parry (school board member, Idaho Falls, ID); and Secretary-Treasurer, Dennis Haverlandt (teacher and President of the Great Falls, MT, Education Association).
