SEA Learning Communities
The NWRCC convenes State Education Agency (SEA) staff in four, theme-based Learning Communities. SEA staff across the five states with similar interests in Response to Intervention (RTI), Statewide Systems of Support (SSOS), Mathematics, and High Quality Teacher (HQT) have opportunities to share challenges, offer solutions, and learn of relevant resources related to these topics.
The Learning Community members typically meet via audio-conference and/or Webinars, but also periodically convene face-to-face at meetings and conferences. These Learning Communities serve to extend the NWRCC's technical assistance efforts to build the capacity of SEA staff to meet the requirements of NCLB and provide support to their districts and schools.
