About Our Training

Since 1999, NWREL's mentoring projects have trained over 8,000 individuals and programs on a wide variety of topics, such as mentor recruitment, program marketing, screening volunteers, program evaluation, and training and preparing mentors and youth for their relationships.
Our training events range from small, single program workshops to large-scale conferences designed for cohorts of federal and state grantees. Our events combine the skills and expertise of staff teams with the wide-ranging talents of our network of trainers and consultants. By providing access to dozens of high-quality mentoring, youth development, and nonprofit management experts, NWREL's National Mentoring Center can deliver a customized training that meets your organization's needs.
