Here we provide a list of publishers that specialize in children’s books and adult literacy materials rather than list out individual titles. Request a catalog or visit the Web site to learn more about each company’s books, series, and resources. Some Web sites also feature on-line activities for children. Click here to jump to publishers of High Interest/Low Reading Level series.

If you’re looking for lists of book titles arranged by grade level, The Wright Group’s Leveled Book Lists (www.wrightgroup.com) or Carol Hurst’s Children’s Literature Site (www.carolhurst.com/titles/gradetitles.html). Embracing the Child (www.eyeontomorrow.com/embracingthechild) lists books by categories ranging from adoption to nature and science and technology. Quick reference lists of Caldecott and Newberry Medal winners are available from the America Library Association (www.ala.org/alsc).
