The National Center for Learning Disabilities provides resources and support to parents and educators working with children who have learning differences. Provides a newsletter, information on research in terms accessible to parents, referral services, and follows relevant legislation.

The Schwab Foundation for Learning is dedicated to raising awareness about learning differences and providing parents and teachers with the information, resources, and support they need to improve the lives of kids with learning differences. SFL produces a newsletter, information and referral services, and follows relevant legislation. Their Web site features a searchable database of resources for parents, educators, and the media.
- LD Online is a guide to learning disabilities for parents, teachers, and children. It is sponsored by the Learning Disabilities Project at WETA, a public radio station in Washington, D.C. Features a free online newsletter, Teaching Tip of the Week, a place for children to submit writing and art, and much more.
- Learning Disabilities Association advocates for individuals with learning disabilities. Materials available online include When Learning Is a Problem (1 free copy), Reading Problems, by Janet Lerner, and Learning Disabilities Digest for Literacy Providers.
- National Information Center for Children and Youth with Disabilities provides information on disabilities and disability-related issues for families, educators, and other professionals with a special focus on children and youth. Materials available include Reading and Learning Disabilities and The Bridge to Braille: Reading and School Success for the Young Blind Child. Many of these are online, and some are available in Spanish.
- The ERIC Clearinghouse on Disabilities and Gifted Education (ERIC EC) provides information, literature reviews, and other resources related to the education and development of people of all ages who have disabilities and/or who are gifted.
