Grades 3-5 Number Sense and Algebraic Reasoning
Children, in learning to mathematize their world, will come to see mathematics as the living discipline it is, with themselves a part of a creative, constructive mathematical community, hard at work."
—From Young Mathematicians at Work, C. Fosnot and M. Dolk
Participants will explore the big ideas of number sense and algebraic reasoning relevant to grades 3-5.
