Teachers Learning Together: Improving Instruction Through Professional Learning Teams

Professional Learning Teams (PLTs) are small groups of teachers working together to improve their classroom instruction. This research-based approach becomes the foundation for a collaborative, teacher-directed, schoolwide effort. The process instructs teacher groups to plan and find time for PLTs, trains school leadership to implement and support the teams, and delivers ongoing technical assistance and consultation services.

"We all respect each other's opinions. Before, people would leave in the middle of meetings if there was conflict."
