Problem Statement

How can we, as students form Academy X, a leadership and humanities program from Sir Francis Drake High School:

Research, determine findings, conclusions and recommendations on facilities problems in K-12 schools (high schools in particular) in California

Produce a report with video/photo supplements

Lobby state lawmakers on December 10 in Sacramento

Connect with other teens and groups concerned about this issue.

Inform the media of about our work

So that the State of California begins to improve school facilities; consequently, securing citizens' human right to a safe learning environment.
