Building a Framework and System of Accountability
District and school leaders become familiar with SLC best practices, and consider the school and district practices that prepare all students to meet high academic standards.

This training provides tools that help participants analyze the allocation of resources, including time and staff; align special academic programs with overall district goals; consider the role of department and SLC leadership; and improve the rigor of course offerings. District teams develop five-year plans for shifting practices and resources to support SLCs and aligning professional development with needs. Follow-up coaching helps leadership teams implement your plans, troubleshoot implementation challenges, and develop change leadership skills.

Designing a Professional Development Strategy

This training helps district and school leadership teams use existing resources to maximize instructional time in the core, support a coherent instructional program, and increase personalization. Leadership teams use your district goals and framework to set priorities and analyze the trade-offs involved in reallocating resources.

District Leadership Team Coaching
Leadership teams are equipped with best practices to handle common SLC challenges.

Core & More coaching supports leadership development in teams whose members might include superintendents; assistant superintendents for curriculum, instruction and assessment; high school transformation personnel; grant writers; principals; and other key leaders. Coaching supports the implementation of research-based best practices, the alignment of initiatives according to district goals, and the development of change leadership.
