About Northwest Regional Educational Laboratory
Comprehensive School Reform
Comprehensive school reform is a means to improve student achievement through reorganizing and revitalizing entire schools, rather than implementing isolated programs. It uses well-researched and well-documented models for schoolwide change that are supported by expert trainers and facilitators. Challenging academic standards, strong professional development, and meaningful parent and community support are all part of a comprehensive school reform program.NWREL focus area: Re-engineering
