NWREL Leadership Training Program



The NWREL Leadership Training Program is funded by the U.S. Department of Education.  The purpose of the Model Leadership Training Program is to demonstrate and assess strategies for leadership training for those who plan to found or have recently founded charter schools. Specifically, the outcome of the training program will include:
  • Specific curriculum that can be accessed by both charter school trainers and developers;
  • Specific training strategies targeting charter school founders in different contexts, with different learning strategies and requirements and in various stages of developement; and
  • A replicability plan designed to support the dissemination and use of the training.
