Communication Tips

Communication is the key to interactions between people. It Is something we think- we do all day long with each other. Sometimes we feel successful and other times we don't. Partnerships are filled with busy people and they need to take time to work on their communication skills if they want to operate as a group. If communication is open and fluent then decisions, problem solving, and discussions are easy to make.

  • Groups need a way and time to talk to each other
  • The art of communication needs to be nurtured
  • Communication is the key to problem solving

The activities in this section are designed to be helpful tools for partnerships. They can be longer or extended if they are incorporated with other business. At the end of each activity in the "extension" section there are ideas of how to do this. Activities are for:

  • Group inclusion and dynamics
  • Group statement of purpose
  • Problem solving and decision making

Each activity can be incorporated into a "business" aspect of the meeting using them as tools to make long discussion segments more interesting places to listen, or these activities can stand alone.
